Drew leads the student ministry at Sojourn Church. He was born and raised in Central Florida and moved to Tennessee for college. He went to Korea for seven years to teach English, teaching in all-boys middle and high schools. While in Korea, he served in an international church, doing campus ministry, teaching Bible studies, and leading home groups. He met Kelly his wife through their church and they got married there in 2017. Kelly and Drew felt the Lord calling them to ministry and came to the U.S. in order for Drew to attend seminary. They want to see the students at Sojourn grow up to maturity in their faith, walking closely with Jesus Christ in every area of their lives.
Jonathan and Kara Lee
Jonathan and Kara have been the Student Ministry Pastors at River City Church for 3 years. They have 2 boys, Ezra (4) and Silas (2). We love using spiritual formation practices as a way to give our students various ways to connect with Jesus, fully believing Jesus wants to meet with them in all the details of their lives. We consider it a true honor and privilege to partner with what Jesus is doing in the hearts of the next generation.
Matt is a Kennesaw native that eventually found his way to RiverStone with his beautiful wife, Alissa. He is the 2018 Royal Caribbean Western Caribbean Dodgeball Champion, Self-Appointed Gagaball champion of Middle School Retreat 2020, but most importantly a follower of Jesus. Matt is driven by a strong desire to be faithful to the Word, to abide in Him, and to walk with Him.
Via Smith is the Student Pastor of the newest church plant in the Transformation Network- Highlands Church. She lives in Marietta with her husband Travis and their two dogs and cat. Some of Via’s hobbies (in no particular order of importance), include drinking copious amounts of coffee, connecting with new people, avoiding all things nature, and spending quality time with Winston (the cat). She’s a big fan of hugs and an even bigger fan of a good joke.
Via loves students and thinks that working with them is the best job in the world. Her heart for students is to see them fully abide in Jesus and courageously love the people around them.
Jeremy has a big personality and a love for the people he serves. He is always ready with a funny story to tell, is a natural gatherer, and can make even the staunchest introvert feel they want to be a part of whatever he’s involved in.
Armed with a passion for God’s Word and a desire to see people connect in community, Jeremy is a force to be reckoned with as the Student Pastor at StoneBridge.
